  1. Other than Emma Frost, the costumes look absolutely disgusting; that yellow-black "biker jacket" look that Morrison gave them when he revamped (i.e: temporarily destroyed) the X-Men.

Havok, Tempest, Mystique... DARWIN!? All on FIRST Class, but no signs of Scott Summers, Bobby Drake or Jean Grey. I am seriously doubting that I will want to see even the trailer for this film.

  3. well there's been some good moments in the X-Men film franchise (all of them in X2) but I always said that they should reboot and do it the right way! the only reason the X-Men are portrayed this way is because it was one of the first successful comic book movies made and if the franchise would only start today, they would be way closer to the source material and true to the comics!!!!

  4. X-2 was phenomenal, as was Spidey 2, but the rest in both trilogies were terrible.
Closer to what source material? The original X-Men comics in the 60's? The Hellfire club didn't come into the title until Claremont in the early 80's, and even if the movie was meant to take liberties and have "First Class" begin around that era, they're still ignoring many of the founding elements of the X-Men, prominently the team members.
I'm not excited for this in the least, and since it's supposed to be a trilogy that just irks me even more. So I hope I am pleasantly surprised that it turns out good. Though I have my doubts it will.

  5. sorry I wasn't implying that this "First Class" franchise is cannon, I meant I would love to see a new reboot all together! Like I said X2 was great but frak Singer's X-Men universe!!!!

  6. Oh sorry, I must have took your comment in the wrong light. But yea, I agree, a reboot is needed. I just wish the first trilogy never happened, then they could get it right with the right characters! Hah
